An abondoned little bear by the name of Gloomy is rescued by a little boy named Pitty Although he is cute and cuddly initially, Gloomy becomes more wild as he gets older Since bears do not become attached to people like dogs do, Gloomy attacks Pitty even though he is the owner. Gloomy always has some blood on him from biting and scratching Pitty.
